Here to Join REGISTRATION: Mail entry form and check payable to "Town of
Carrabassett Valley" to Carrabassett Cross Country Cycle Challenge, RR 1, Box
2138, Carrabassett Valley, ME, 04947. Entry form must be postmarked by August
1, 2005. Day of event registration opens at 8:30 a.m. and closes 30 minutes
before the start of each race. AWARDS: Over $1500 in
merchandise will be awarded to all race categories and ages
KIDS
RACE: Kids Race (11 & under) starts at 12:00 p.m. and includes a
special kids loop. Kids 11 & under race free.
First-timers race for free. All racers have an EFTA license or
purchase a 1-day license at the event for $4. Registration and release form
must be completed and signed. |
DIRECTIONS: From
the South: Take the Maine Turnpike
(I-95) to Auburn, Exit 75 (formerly 12). Follow RT. 4 North through Farmington.
Get on RT. 27 North through Kingfield, straight to Sugarloaf. The Sugarloaf
Outdoor Center is approximately one mile before the Sugarloaf Access Road on
the left.

Take I-95
North to Augusta, Exit 112B (formerly 31B). Follow RT. 27 North through
Farmington and Kingfield, straight to Sugarloaf. The Sugarloaf Outdoor Center
is approximately one mile before the Sugarloaf Access Road on the
left.
From the North: Take
I-95 South to Palmyra/Newport, Exit 157 (formerly 39). Follow RT. 2 West to
Skowhegan. Get on RT. 201 North to RT. 148 West through Madison, to RT. 201A
North to North Anson. Take a left onto RT. 16 West to Kingfield, then RT. 27
North to Sugarloaf. The Sugarloaf Outdoor Center is approximately one mile
before the Sugarloaf Access Road on the left.
